From the Principal’s Desk
May 28, 2008
Dear St. Mark’s Families,
I thought last week’s Redfolder was the last letter for the year but here I am again to sign off and say, “thanks and have a great summer”! However, I will take this opportunity to inquire and also to remind.
First, Fr. Klamut and myself would like to know if anyone is interested in serving on the school’s Education Commission Committee. We will have two members finishing their terms this year and we are looking for replacements. Please contact the church or school office or get in touch with Father or me if you’re interested.
I’m happy to announce that Mrs. Patricia Brandt will be our new Jr. High Science Teacher. This past year she worked as our counselor/ resource teacher. She’s had ties to St. Marks for many years and her academic specialty is in the science curriculum. So I’m excited for our students, families, and staff to be able to fill this vacancy with such an outstanding educator, but even better person.
It’s not too late to sign-up for our Summer Academy or the Academies of Math and Reading. Contact the school office if interested. Even if you’re not placing your child/children in a summer program, we encourage you to work with them in reading and math.
Yours in the Blessed Trinity,
Steve Hagenbruch
