What we Offer!

Academic Bridge Work:  Unique to our Summer Academy will be a focus on academics.  Students will be divided daily into age appropriate academic groups for bridge curriculum work.  The goal to the bridge curriculum is to help students better transition for the coming year.  The academic component of our Summer Academy will provide your child(ren) with a solid head start for the coming school year.

Theme Based Learning:  Each week will feature a different educational theme supported daily with structured activites, arts, and crafts.  In addition each student will have plenty of free play to enjoy the summer.  We seek to establish the perfect balance where summer learning becomes summer fun!  Field trips included!

Catholic Identity:  In addition to excellent academic prep work for the coming year, athletic opportunities, and summer fun, our Summer Academy remains focused on our Catholic mission of evangelization.  St. Mark's Summer Camp will feature daily prayers and catechesis focused on Bible stories.

* full time enrollment in the Summer Academy also reserves a seat in our Parish Vacation Bible School free of charge.

The Facilities

The Summer Academy will be housed at St. Mark Catholic School.  Air conditioning will be made available for the summer in the rooms on the South end of the campus to help battle the summer heat.  The Summer Academy will frequently use the computer lab, gym, playgrounds, and academic classrooms.
