Faith in Action

The devotional life of a Christian should lead to faith in action. Christians are called to aid those around them by serving others in a spirit of authentic Christian charity. St. Mark's Student Government takes an active role in developing and leading charitable endeavors. These works of charity range from organizing collections for the West-Mark Food Pantry to frequent collections for our sister school in Kituii Kenya as well as our Hatian Friends. We take seriously our obligations to be Christ to the world. As members of the mystical body of Christ we recognize that we represent Christ to the world. Our lips are Christ's lips to preach the Gospel. Our hands are Christ's hands to heal and comfort the sick. Our love is Christ's love to comfort the poor and abandoned.
