Sons of St. Joseph
Sons of St. Joseph is a parish organization of men that meets every other Saturday to join in prayer and discussion regarding family life and fatherhood.
The Sons of St. Joseph began five years ago under the sponsorship of Father Francis Gallagher. This group of dedicated Catholic fathers has been instrumental in the organization and origins of the now annual Catholic Men's March that takes place each spring.
This tradition began as a response to the Bishop Jenky's "Erin Feis" call for Catholic Men to take an active role in standing up for and vibrantly living thier Catholic faith.
Meeting Times:
every other Saturday from 6:00-8:00am
Meeting Location:
usually in the Bradley Catholic Newman Center
Prayers of St. Joseph
Blessed Joseph, husband of Mary,
be with us this day. You protected and
cherished the Virgin; loving the Child Jesus
as your Son, you rescued him from the danger
of death. Defend the Church, the household of God,
purchased by the blood of Christ.
Guardian of the Holy Family, be with us in our trials.
May your prayers obtain for us the strength to flee from error
and wrestle with the powers of corruption so that in life we may grow in holiness and in death rejoice in the crown of victory.
Amen
